Ingredients:
- 400 g good quality sausage - 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp butter or oil
- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and keep warm. 2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Slice the sausage into rounds.
4. Heat the butter or oil in a skillet. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
5. Add the sausage slices to the pan and cook until they are nicely browned.
6. Stir in the cream, beef broth, tomato paste, and Dijon mustard. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5-10 minutes.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve the sausage stroganoff over the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.
