recipe

A delicious sandwich filled with tender pulled pork, cheese, and ham. Perfect to enjoy warm.
Preparation Time: 5 hours
Serving Size: 4-6 sandwiches

Ingredients:

- 600-700 g pork shoulder
- 1-2 tbsp oil
- Cajun seasoning
- Baguette or rolls
- Slices of cheese
- American yellow mustard
- Sliced ham
- 1 tomato
- Mayonnaise

Instructions:

1. Take the pork shoulder out of the refrigerator and allow it to reach room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Place the meat in a roasting pan and rub oil all over it. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning on top and massage it into the meat.
3. Cover the pan with a lid and cook in a preheated oven at 110°C (230°F) for about 4.5 hours.
4. Once cooked, let the meat cool slightly and shred it with a fork into small pieces. Mix the shredded pork with the juices collected in the pan.
5. Slice the baguette or rolls in half. On one side, layer slices of cheese and on the other side, generously spread yellow mustard.
6. Pile warm pulled pork on top of the cheese and add folded slices of ham.
7. Slice the tomato and layer it with mayonnaise in the sandwich.
8. Press the halves of the sandwich together. If the sandwich is hot, wrap it tightly in parchment paper and press down to meld the flavors together.
