recipe

A delightful and festive treat combining chocolate truffles with a beautiful presentation, perfect for holiday gifting!
Preparation Time: 1 hour + chilling time
Serving Size: About 100 truffles

Ingredients:

- Truffle Filling:
- 300 g milk chocolate
- 300 g dark chocolate
- 2 dl cream
- 3 tsp gingerbread spice

- Coating:
- 200-300 g milk chocolate
- Red Candy Melts

Instructions:

1. Make the Truffle Mixture: Heat the cream in a saucepan until it reaches a boiling point. Remove from heat and add chopped milk and dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted. Mix in the gingerbread spice until smooth. Allow to cool and chill preferably overnight.
2. Form the Balls: Roll small balls from the chilled truffle mixture and place them on a plate. Insert a cocktail stick into the center of each ball for dipping. Let the balls chill for about 30 minutes.
3. Coating: Melt the milk chocolate in a small bowl. Dip the truffles using the cocktail stick and place them on parchment paper to set. Leave some truffles uncoated if desired.
4. Red Coating: Melt the red Candy Melts and coat the truffles in the same manner as the milk chocolate ones.
5. Packaging: Create cute packages for the reindeer truffles using cellophane. Decorate the packages with craft paper, felt, and markers as desired.
