Ingredients
Cake Base: - 4 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Fillings:
- 130 g milk chocolate
- 200 g plain cream cheese
- 50 g sugar
- 250 ml heavy cream
- Orange marmalade
Frosting:
- Fondant
- Buttercream
Decorations:
- Whipped cream dyed green
Instructions
1. Prepare the cake base by beating the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Gently fold in the flour and baking powder. Pour the batter into two rectangular baking pans. 2. Bake the bases at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes or until cooked through. Allow them to cool.
3. For the chocolate mousse, melt the milk chocolate. Once cooled, mix it with the cream cheese and sugar.
4. Whip the heavy cream and gently fold it into the chocolate-cream cheese mixture.
5. Trim the cooled cake bases into the desired shape and fill them with orange marmalade and chocolate mousse.
6. Cover the cake with buttercream and shape fondant decorations as desired.
7. Pipe the green whipped cream on top of the cake in your preferred style.
