A delicious apple caramel cake perfect for dessert. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 dl milk
- 3 apples
- 1 dl dulce de leche
- Caramel sauce for serving
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gradually add this dry mixture to the batter, alternating with the milk.
5. Peel and chop the apples. Gently fold the apple pieces and dulce de leche into the batter.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the center of the oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through.
8. Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before inverting it onto a plate.
9. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
