Ingredients:
- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g flour
- 100 ml dark beer
- 100 ml cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
3. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar. Mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until the mixture is smooth.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt).
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the beer. Mix until the batter is smooth.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through.
8. Allow the cake to cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
