A beautiful cake to celebrate the rich 400-year history of Uusikaupunki, featuring delightful flavors and stunning decorations.

Ingredients:

- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g berries (such as blueberries or raspberries)
- 200 g cream (whipped)
- For decoration: powdered sugar and fresh berries

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar) and add to the batter alternately with the milk.
4. Gently fold in the berries into the batter.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
6. Allow the cake to cool completely before decorating.
7. Whip the cream and spread it over the top of the cake. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh berries.
