Delicious, rich, and sweet sticky buns, perfect for your Easter table! This recipe features a special cinnamon filling and a sweet glaze.
Preparation Time: 2 hours (including rising)
Serving Size: 12 buns

Ingredients:

- 2 cups milk
- 1.7 oz fresh yeast
- 0.4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 0.4 cup butter (melted)
- 0.4 cup all-purpose flour
- 8.5 cups all-purpose flour (approximately)
- Filling:
- 0.4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 3.5 oz butter (softened)
- Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- Toasted almond slices (for topping)

Instructions:

1. Warm the milk until lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it.
2. Add sugar, salt, cardamom, cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix well.
3. Gradually add flour until the dough is soft and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
5. Prepare the filling by mixing together sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter.
6. Roll out the dough on a piece of parchment paper into a rectangular shape. Spread the filling evenly on top.
7. Roll the rectangle tightly and slice into 2-3 cm thick pieces.
8. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes, until the buns are golden brown.
10. Mix the glaze ingredients and spread over the buns. Sprinkle with toasted almond slices.
