A delicious mustard chicken seasoned with cayenne pepper and paprika, perfect for a flavorful meal. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 whole chicken (or chicken thighs)
- 8 cloves garlic
- A pinch of black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp mustard powder (Colman's)
- A pinch of sea salt flakes
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken into eight pieces, keeping the skin on.
2. Rub the chicken pieces with olive oil and all the dry spices.
3. Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
4. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
5. Place the garlic cloves on top of the chicken pieces and arrange them in a baking dish.
6. Roast the chicken in the oven for about 45-60 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
7. Let it rest before serving.
