A creamy fish and egg sauce perfect for serving over rice or pasta.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g sei (cod)
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp oil
- 6 dl milk
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1½ tsp salt
- White pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Boil the eggs until hard, then cool and chop them.
2. Cook the thawed sei in a pan until fully cooked. Transfer the cooked fish to a plate and set aside.
3. In the same pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
4. Add the flour to the oil and mix well until combined.
5. Gradually pour in the cold milk while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
6. Heat the sauce while stirring constantly and cook for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
7. Finally, add the salt, white pepper, chopped eggs, and the cooked fish. Mix well and serve.
