A delicious and innovative drink that brings the Christmas spirit home. This recipe combines the warmth of mulled wine with the delicate fragrance of rose, making it perfect to enjoy alongside gingerbread. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of mulled wine (glögi) - 2 tablespoons of rose petals (dried or fresh)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3-4 cloves
- 1 orange (sliced)
- 100 ml honey or sugar (to taste)
Instructions:
1. Pour the mulled wine into a saucepan and heat over low heat. 2. Add the rose petals, cinnamon stick, cloves, and orange slices to the saucepan.
3. Stir well and let the mulled wine warm for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.
4. Taste and add honey or sugar as needed.
5. Strain the mulled wine into a serving pitcher and serve hot, ideally by candlelight.
