A delicious traditional dish from Oulu, combining flavorful ingredients and crispy blood pancakes. Perfect for both everyday meals and celebrations. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 people
Ingredients:
- 400 g potatoes
- 200 g carrots
- 1 onion
- 1 l beef broth
- 200 g blood pancakes or sausage-based pancakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots.
2. Finely chop the onion.
3. Heat the beef broth in a pot and add the potatoes, carrots, and onion.
4. Let it simmer on low heat for about 20-30 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
5. Cut the blood pancakes into bite-sized pieces and add them to the pot. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley.
