A quick and delicious jam made easily in the microwave using frozen berries. Perfect as a topping for pancakes or yogurt. Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: Approximately 400 ml
Ingredients:
- 4 dl frozen blueberries or strawberries
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
1. Place the frozen berries, sugar, and lemon juice (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl.
2. Mix the ingredients well together.
3. Heat in the microwave on full power for about 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway through.
4. Once the berries have softened and the mixture has thickened, carefully remove the bowl from the microwave.
5. Allow to cool before serving. The jam can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for about a week.
