Ingredients:
- 800 g gnocchi pasta - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 bell peppers, diced (e.g., red and yellow)
- 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions:
1. Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions and drain. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.
3. Add the crushed garlic and diced bell peppers. Cook for about 5 minutes until the peppers are tender.
4. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and add oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
5. Stir the cooked gnocchi into the sauce and heat for a moment.
6. Serve the dish topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
