A savory pie filled with salmon and rice, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients
CRUST
- 200 g melted margarine
- 3-4 dl all-purpose flour
- A pinch of salt
- 0.25 dl water
FILLING
- 300 g marinated salmon strips
- 2 dl rice
- 4 dl water
- 1 dl cream
- 0.5 dl chopped dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the crust by mixing melted margarine, flour, salt, and water in a bowl. Knead the dough until smooth.
2. Press the dough into the bottom and sides of a pie dish. Poke holes in the crust with a fork.
3. Pre-bake the crust at 175°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes.
4. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
5. In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, salmon strips, cream, dill, salt, and pepper.
6. Pour the filling over the pre-baked crust.
7. Bake the pie in the oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until the filling is cooked and the top is golden brown.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
