These lovely letter cookies are a perfect addition to name celebrations or other festive occasions. They are beautiful, delicious, and easy to make. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: About 20 cookies
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl brown sugar
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl potato starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
- Decorations (e.g. powdered sugar, sprinkles)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.2. Add the egg and mix well until fully incorporated.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients and then gradually add to the butter mixture.
4. Knead the dough until smooth, then wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
5. Roll the dough out to about 0.5 cm thick and cut out your desired letters.
6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and decorate as desired.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden brown.
8. Allow to cool before serving.
