A delightful spring treat that combines crispy toast, delicious white asparagus, and mustard. This recipe is quick to prepare and perfect for spring celebrations. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 hot dogs
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of light white bread
- 8 black label asparagus "sticks"
- 4 stalks of white asparagus
- 12-16 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- Salt (for boiling asparagus)
- Arugula
Instructions:
1. Boil the white asparagus in salted water for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and cool the asparagus.
2. Toast the white bread until golden brown.
3. Spread Dijon mustard on top of the toasted bread.
4. Place the cooked white asparagus on top of the bread.
5. Add the black label asparagus "sticks" next to the white asparagus.
6. Garnish with arugula.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
