A delicious Danish open-faced sandwich perfect for lunch or a snack, offering plenty of flavor and beautiful colors. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of rye bread
- 200 g pickled herring
- 50 g butter
- 100 g cream cheese
- 1 red onion
- 4 slices of boiled eggs
- 1 dl pickles
- 1 dl dried onions
- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions:
1. Spread butter on each slice of rye bread.
2. Add cream cheese on top of the buttered bread.
3. Place pickled herring on each slice.
4. Slice the red onion and boiled eggs, then arrange them on the bread.
5. Top with pickles and dried onions.
6. Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
