Delicious flapjacks perfect for a snack or a sweet treat with coffee. Packed with fiber and energy, they are quick to prepare!
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 12 pieces
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 150 g butter
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp flax seeds or sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 4 dl rolled oats
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 dl cornflakes
- 2 dl shredded coconut
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking tray or line it with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: rolled oats, flour, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, flax seeds or sesame seeds, cornflakes, and shredded coconut.
3. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add honey and grated ginger. Mix well.
4. Pour the melted butter-honey mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking tray and press it down evenly.
6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting into pieces.
