Ingredients

- For the crust:
- 150 g butter (e.g., Hyla)
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp cold water
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
- For the filling:
- 200 g Aura cheese
- 2 ripe pears
- 1 dl cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

1. Prepare the crust: In a bowl, combine the butter and flour until crumbly. Add cold water and salt, mixing until it forms a dough. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the filling: Slice the pears and crumble the Aura cheese. In a bowl, mix the cream, eggs, and black pepper.
3. Roll out the dough into a thin layer and line a pie dish with it. Prick the bottom with a fork.
4. Arrange the pear slices on top of the crust and sprinkle the crumbled Aura cheese over them.
5. Pour the egg mixture over the filling and add the desired herbs.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes, until the pie is golden brown and the filling is set.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
