Ingredients

- 1½ kg moose meat
- 800 g fatty pork belly
- 2-3 large onions
- Salt to taste
- Mixed peppercorns to taste
- Water

Instructions

1. Cut the moose meat into serving pieces.
2. Dice the pork belly and onions.
3. Place the meat pieces and pork belly into a large pot.
4. Add the onions, salt, peppercorns, and enough water to cover the meat.
5. Heat the pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 2-3 hours, until the meat is tender.
6. Check the seasoning and add more salt and spices if necessary.
Serve the moose stew with potatoes or bread.
