Serving Size: 12 pastries
Ingredients:
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 250 g blueberry-vanilla cream
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets slightly thinner and cut each sheet into four squares.
3. Make a small cut in each corner of the squares, but do not cut all the way through.
4. Fold the corners toward the center to form a star shape.
5. Place a tablespoon of blueberry-vanilla cream in the center of each star.
6. Brush the stars with beaten egg.
7. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown.
8. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
