A quick and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta with the garlic oil.
6. If the pasta seems dry, add some of the reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
7. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
