A simple and delicious pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes. Perfect for a quick dinner!

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and sauté for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat it in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
