A classic Italian pasta dish that is simple yet full of flavor, featuring garlic, olive oil, and a hint of spice.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and heat until warm.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic oil.
6. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is achieved.
7. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
9. Serve immediately and enjoy your meal!
