Ingredients:
- 2 dl pear cider - 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl milk
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 dl butter (melted)
- 1 egg
- 7-8 dl all-purpose flour (more if needed)
- Oil (for frying)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. Warm the pear cider and milk to lukewarm. Crumble the fresh yeast into the mixture and stir until dissolved. 2. Add sugar, salt, cinnamon, melted butter, and the egg. Mix well.
3. Gradually add all-purpose flour until the dough is smooth and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes.
5. Roll the dough into a 1 cm thick sheet and cut out round doughnuts.
6. Let the doughnuts rise for another 15-20 minutes.
7. Heat oil in a deep pan to 180°C (350°F). Fry the doughnuts in batches until golden brown on both sides.
8. Remove the doughnuts and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
