A quick and easy dessert that is delightful on its own or served with porridge. Preparation Time: 10 minutes. Serving Size: 4.Ingredients:
- 2 dl berries (e.g., blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)
- 2 dl water
- 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons potato starch
- 0.5 dl cold water
Instructions:
1. Place the berries and 2 dl of water in a saucepan. Heat until boiling.
2. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves.
3. Mix the potato starch with cold water to create a smooth slurry.
4. Slowly pour the starch mixture into the saucepan while continuously stirring.
5. Cook the kissel for a few more minutes until it thickens.
6. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the kissel cool briefly before serving.
