This delicious creamy pasta dish is perfect for a weekday dinner. Preparation time is approximately 30 minutes. Serves 2.Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 2 chicken breasts
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
3. Cut the chicken breasts into strips and add them to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
4. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and mix well. Allow the mixture to simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture. Stir well until the pasta is fully coated in the sauce.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the dishes garnished with fresh basil.
