Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate-butter mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
5. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture and gently fold until combined.
6. Stir in the vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the surface is set but the center is still slightly soft.
9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan before serving.
