Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 400 g ground beef (or vegetarian substitute)
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 150 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
3. Add the crushed garlic and ground beef to the pan. Brown the meat until fully cooked.
4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
5. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and mix it with the sauce.
6. Serve the dish with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
