A delicious and popular side dish that pairs well with a variety of meals. Preparation time is about 30 minutes. Serves 4.
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and wash the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into thin strips.
2. Place the potato strips in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.
3. Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven at 200°C (about 400°F) for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
5. Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
