Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 3 minutes.
4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and golden brown.
5. Pour the cream over the mushroom mixture and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix all the ingredients together. If the mixture is too dry, add a bit of reserved pasta water.
7. Season with salt and pepper. Grate Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
