This delicious blueberry pie is easy and quick to prepare. It’s a perfect option for celebrations or a sweet treat on an ordinary day. Serve with vanilla ice cream or sauce!

Ingredients

- 175 g butter
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tbsp cardamom
- 6 dl blueberries
- 3 tbsp jam sugar or 3 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder. Add the sugar and cardamom.
3. Pour the melted and slightly cooled butter into the flour mixture. Mix until smooth. The dough will be quite soft.
4. Press or spread the dough into a greased pie dish. (A thin base will make the pie nice and crispy.)
5. Evenly distribute the blueberries over the pie crust. Sprinkle the jam sugar or sugar mixture evenly over the blueberries. Shake the dish gently if needed.
6. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 30 minutes.
7. Serve with vanilla ice cream or sauce.
