Ingredients:
- 3 overripe bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mash the overripe bananas in a bowl.
3. Add sugar, melted butter, and eggs to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring just until combined. Fold in nuts if using.
6. Pour the batter into a greased pie dish.
7. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the pie is golden brown and cooked through. Test for doneness with a toothpick.
8. Allow to cool before serving.
