A delicious and nutritious carrot oat bread, perfect for breakfast or a snack. Preparation time is about 1 hour. Serves: 10-12 slices.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups milk
- 1.76 oz fresh yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1-1.5 cups rolled oats
- 2-2.5 cups grated carrots
- Approximately 8-10 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk until it's lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it.
2. Add the salt and honey, mixing well.
3. Stir in the rolled oats and grated carrots until well combined.
4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour until the dough reaches a thick and elastic consistency.
5. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
6. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes.
7. Grease a loaf pan and pour the dough into it.
8. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 30-40 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
