A delicious burger recipe inspired by French fast-food culture, perfect for a weekend treat. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 hamburger buns
- 250 g ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- Lettuce (such as iceberg)
- Ketchup and mustard to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat a grill or frying pan over medium heat.
2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Shape the mixture into two patties.
3. Cook the patties on the grill or in the pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through. In the last minute of cooking, place cheese slices on top of the patties to melt.
4. Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in the pan.
5. Assemble the burgers: place lettuce on the bottom bun, add the beef patty with melted cheese, followed by tomato and cucumber slices. Add ketchup and mustard to taste.
6. Cap with the top bun and serve immediately.
