Fluffy and chocolatey muffins that satisfy your chocolate cravings. These muffins are the perfect treat for any occasion!
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 12-14 muffins
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 2 dl sugar (1 dl brown sugar + 1 dl regular sugar)
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 dl milk
- 150 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, cream the softened butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar together.
2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Gradually sift this dry mixture into the batter, alternating with the milk.
4. Roughly chop the dark chocolate and fold it into the batter along with the lemon juice. Be careful not to overmix.
5. Divide the batter evenly among muffin cups.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 18-20 minutes.
7. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying!
