These delicious almond chocolate truffles are the perfect sweet treat to enjoy yourself or share with friends. The preparation is easy, and you can customize the flavor of the truffles to your liking. Preparation Time: 2 hours (not including chilling time)
Serving Size: About 16 pieces
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 15 g butter
- Coating:
- 80 g dark chocolate
- 50 g chopped almonds
Instructions:
1. Melt 200 g of dark chocolate in a water bath along with the heavy cream and butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
2. Allow the mixture to cool in the refrigerator for about 1 hour until it is firm enough to shape.
3. Roll the chilled mixture into small balls and place them in a plastic container in the fridge to chill overnight.
4. For the coating, melt 80 g of dark chocolate in a water bath.
5. Dip the truffle balls in the melted chocolate, ensuring the chocolate is not too hot to prevent the truffles from melting.
6. Roll the chocolate-coated truffles in chopped almonds.
7. Place the coated truffles back in the refrigerator to set before serving.
